Pak T20 League 2021: Islamabad vs Peshawar, Eliminator 2, Match Prediction, Playing XI 

Peshawar and Islamabad will lock horns in the second eliminator game tonight. It's an eliminator game and the winner of this game will face Multan in the final on Thursday.

Peshawar and Islamabad both have played two finals each and share three trophies in Pak T20 Cricket League 2021. They are facing each other one more time after a high-scoring thriller last week. Islamabad suffered a 30-run loss in qualifier game against Multan, while Peshawar edged past Karachi in the first eliminator game of Pak T20 League.

Islamabad got the target of 181 but their batting unit failed to deliver. Usman Khawaja played a solid knock of 70 off 40 balls but he didn't find good support from other players. They have a quality pool of players but they rely on their overseas players more. Munro got the duck in the last game and Iftikhar was also not in good touch.

On the other hand, Peshawar is coming off a splendid win over the defending champions with mastering a chase of 176. Zazai's blistering knock assured victory for Peshawar. Karachi added some twist in death-overs and at one stage, Peshawar needed five off three balls but they managed to hold the nerve.

Peshawar and Islamabad are one of the successful franchises of the Pak T20 League and this game would be cracking. Out of the last four complete games, Peshawar won three and Islamabad have just one win. Three games were won by batting-first sides. Both sides are pretty strong on paper. Whoever wins tonight, will play their record third final in Pak T20 League. Only Quetta have played three finals in Pak T20 League.

Abu Dhabi's surface is now a quality T20 surface and it provides a good balance between bat and ball. It's a knock-out game so we might expect a score around 160-170 which is a competitive total on this surface.
